CREAMY BAKED SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE
8-12 ounces spaghetti (or other pasta) 8 ounces sour cream 8 ounces cream cheese (cut up) 1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained (crumbly) 30 ounces spaghetti sauce 2 cups mozzarella cheese salt and pepper to taste (or anything else as you see fit)
Grease 9 x 13 pan.
Cook the spaghetti and drain, but don't rinse. Put it right back in the warm pot and add the cream cheese. Blend the cream cheese until melted with the spaghetti and then blend in the sour cream. Put spaghetti mixture into greased pan. Layer some of the mozzarella, then the beef, then a little more mozzarella.
Spread the spaghetti sauce across and then put the rest of the mozzarella on top. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Let it stand for 5 or 10 minutes. Great with garlic bread and a salad! __________________ joy at home

Meatball Discussion (by various)
by Paliz Bbq meatballs So I have seen 2 different versions for back meatballs. More uses cranberry sauce jelly and one had grape jelly. Which one do you all use? __________________ Liz
From Somewhere Near Mt. Laundry
by babyluvr I like the grape jelly with chili sauce meatball recipe. Haven't had them in awhile so I think I will add that to my list of things to make for Christmas.
by Paliz Oh that brings up another difference, chili sauce, bbq sauce, or ketchup? __________________ Liz
by babyluvr Chili sauce, definitely.
by BCatherine I use brown sugar and ketchup. Everyone always loves it and asks what I did.
I can't remember the exact numbers off of the top of my head, but I think that it's 2 parts ketchup to one part brown sugar.
I've used cranberry sauce and brown sugar too and it was good. __________________ I know my Redeemer lives.

another meatball recipe. from www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/tangy-meatballsI made this for a group party yesterday......there was pulled bbq pork, and pulled bbq chicken...and my meatballs...plus other finger foods (cheese, crackers, cookies, cake, chips) I doubled the recipe - and people were literally scrapping the inside of the crock pot trying to get the very last bite, and they ran our. (i made alot !) This is a super great recipe. 2 eggs 2 cups quick-cooking or rolled oats 1 can (12 oz) evapored milk 1 cup chopped onion 2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 3 lbs lean ground beef (90% lean) sauce: 2 cups ketchup 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped onion 1-2 tsp liquid smoke (optional) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1. in large bowl, beat eggs, add oats, milk, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic. Let sit a bit so the oats get soft. Add the ground beef: mix well. shape into 1-1/2" balls. Placed on a greased rack in shallow baking pans. Bake , uncovered, at 375 for 30 minutes....drain. (i used a tray covered w/ foil and set the meatballs on that, with the fat draining down) 2. in a saucepan, bring all sauce ingredients to a boil. Bake meatballs for 10 minutes....then drain, then pour the sauce over the meatball, return to oven and bake, uncovered, for another 20 minutes or until meatballs are done serves 12
