It happened early this morning. It's almost 11 and this is the first chance I've had to let anybody here know.
She's alive. She's stable. Capable of speech, we think, but it's hard to tell because of how exhausted she is from all she went through today. She is aware and she does know us. She smiled when I joked around with her just before we left. She was starting to perk up a little bit. She may also have had a mild stroke. Won't know anything definite until probably Monday. We do know she'll have to have PT and OT.
I'm tired, so please excuse the brevity. Will update when I can.
