How are you doing with the plan? I did fairly well for a month and then slowly got off track and back into bad eating habits again. Pretty sure I've gained back anything I had lost and maybe even gained some(scared to get on the scale) I am pretty frustrated with myself and this pattern I have of only being able to stick with a changed eating plan for a month max. My friend has no problem eating the THM way all the time and has lost a ton of weight. I just can't seem to do it long term. ðŸ˜

I'm failing at it. I have learned some stuff about myself though 1. I'm a Coke addict and I'm not sure how to break that 2. I'm now working alone in an office and I eat because I have no one to talk to, that's not good. 3. If I'm staying home I can go until 9:30-10 in the morning w I thought eating but when I have to be at work at 7 am, I want to eat right away. I just don't know what to make myself and of course there number 4 4. I'm lazy when it comes to cooking. Let me rephrase I will cook almost anything for my family of 8 but when it comes to a single serve meal like breakfast or lunch I just don't feel like it. 5. I'm great at telling myself at 8:30 pm that tomorrow will be different and this is how it's going to go but come 7 am that pep talk has gone out the window 6. Without my full family on board, I just don't see how to do it. I get a meal here and there that is THM but really it's hard. I wish I had words of encouragement for you but I don't. I don't know if maybe if you look at some of the reason why you aren't making it long term that it will provide insight for you or not

I seriously need to get back on plan. I've gained 16 lbs. in the past 2-1/2 months due to stress eating!
I know the plan works because I did it earlier this year. I'm so bad at planning meals for myself but I have to sit down and just do it. I make THM meals for dinner then just offer my family either a rice/starch when they like. I do not make different meals for the family than what I make.
Another problem for me is because I don't plan ahead I tend to grab something fast/easy that isn't on plan. I did well when I made a on-plan cake type thing and cut/froze in portion sizes. Then I could grab that.
I'm going to carve out time for myself this weekend to make a plan of attack!

I've decided 2 things. 1. I have to find a way to kick the soda because I'm horrible heartburn which I know is being caused by the soda. 2. I say a thing on Pinterest about doing a mini fuel pull day (I think that's what it's called). Breakfast and lunch are to be deep -s and then the rest of the day is fp's. I'm going to prep to do this Tuesday. It's my first day to reasonably do this without setting myself up for failure. My next step is going to be to try the fuel cycle week in the plan book which I think starts on a Sunday so that will be for 12/4. I had lent out my plan book and now that I have it back I'm hoping it will be more helpful than just flipping through the cookbook.

OH well, Tuesday's mini full pull cycle was a learning adventure to say the least. It started rough, but got better and then ended poorly. Still I ate better that day then I have recently. I don't think I'm going to do the full week just yet. Still I've decided one main goal I should have is getting my eating separated by 3-4 hours.
Thank you for asking

Trying again today. So I have to be out of the house early to do some co-op stuff that is outside and it's cold and wet so I made my self Brianna Thomas' velvety peppermint drink to take along and will eat something when I get back

I've been sick for the past week. Getting back on track this morning. I feel like oatmeal this morning. Making a roast for dinner - I might try the radishes for potatoes for myself. I'm skeptical but willing to try.
Lunch is in the air as of yet. I did buy some ham. Maybe ham roll-ups.

Yesterday went down hill at about lunch time for 2 reasons: 1. lack of planning and 2. stress
Today is already shot with stress and lack of planning sooooo I really think all of my other reasons could really boil down to just these 2.
Elliefunt-Debbie--How did the radishes go?

I am still doing some THM, but not all meals every day. Not sure what my plan is. Right now I'm just in survival mode.
I like the plan and intend to go back to it wholeheartedly, just not sure when. Time is definitely an issue.

I'm far enough out from the surgery now that I don't consider myself in survival mode anymore. So I've restarted Thm wholeheartedly. Two days in a row completely on plan. Feels good.

I've been tossing around the idea of buying the 365 meals. I need to take another look at it. I fail at menu planning. Here's the link for anyone interested: One year healthy meal plans
