Dd is having 3 friends over for a sleepover. Dh is working tomorrow, so he will be going to bed early. The boys and I will be hanging out watching the ball drop.

We have a seafood feast for dinner every year. Normally it's just us the rest of the evening but this year dh & I were invited to a friends house. Our youngest dd will be spending the night there. Our oldest is having a sleepover here so we'll have to be home early for parental supervision. Probably 8-ish I'm thinking.
I probably won't make it till midnight. No big deal to me anymore.

Considering that I've had insomnia for the past two nights, I'm assuming I'll be awake at midnight whether I want to be or not. :/
My two oldest are chilling out at home; two middle boys have plans with friends; two little ones will probably try to stay up till midnight but will probably end up falling asleep.
Dh, I can guarantee, will be asleep by 8:00. (LOL)

Typically, we do nothing. This year, however, we were invited to a '50s theme party so we're dressing up and heading out. I'm not really a large group party person so i'm crossing my fingers that there are friendly people there. I HATE meeting new people.

We're staying home. We might do New Year's with the kids at 5pm, which is when the New Year arrives where their cousins live. If we're going to do anything too exciting I'm going to have to get cracking on making preparations, though.
I considered having the kids stay up, but the other night they were up till like 10:00 and all acted like they were dying so I think we'll just do bedtime at 8:30 like normal for the kids. I think Art and I are going to watch Lord of the Rings after they go to bed. We'll probably try to stay up till midnight on principle, but I always reserve the right to go to bed whenever I feel like it. LOL.

We'll be home. I bought a small shrimp cocktail ring for tonight. I'm going to get some sparkling grape juice also. Not sure about the rest. Since I have to be at work at 8 am tomorrow I'm going to stay up just until midnight then turn in.

It's my birthday. It's 7.15pm here. So far, we've had duck with pancakes, cucumber and leeks and cava. More food soon

Nothing special here. We plan to go out to eat super early. Then back home to maybe watch a movie. I'll be spending most of the night crocheting or reading my book after the kids are in bed. I'm sure I will be in bed well before midnight.

We normally do fondue on new year's eve, but this year, I think that we might do that tomorrow. My oldest will be working, my middle son most likely won't be home. We're going to go get some pizza in a little bit. Then, if it's just us and our youngest tonight, perhaps we'll go to a movie or something?? Tomorrow, we're going to be watching FSU and the college football playoff for most of the afternoon/evening, so it'll work better for fondue anyway. Happy New Year, y'all.
