We are having a little bit of fall weather now. At night & early morning anyway, we still have heat stroke inducing weather during the day. I froze at soccer practice last night because I am still wearing my shorts. I have no jeans that fit! My most recent jeans would fall off if I tried to run soccer practice in them (and I wanted to spare my soccer babies that trauma). All the other jeans I have are goal weight or close to goal weight jeans. Dh told me to go by some clothes but I really am not ready to settle and buy a lot so I told him I'd swing by walmart and grab and pair of jeans for "on the way" to goal. I suppose right now having no pants that fit is a good problem to have.

Good problem to have that your most recent ones are too big! But yeah, I'd probably want to have something that fits while you are in the "on the way" stage too.

The jeans I was wearing in the spring were so tight I was using the rubber band pregnancy trick because I was refusing to go to a big size. The jeans I bought were 2 sizes smaller and I really needed the size below that (the store didn't have them). That was very encouraging!!

I've had a bit of a disappointing setback. The insurance co has changed the rules on me & I just found out. They have dropped the BMI levels for this year (though I still have to have my BMI level at a certain point) they are not using the BMI levels to show improvement. SO the fact that I have dropped from the now non existent Level 2 to the now non existent Level 1 (and dropped by several points) is irrelevant. Now the only measurement that they are using is 10% weight loss from last year. I'm not there yet. I am frustrated because I've worked so hard and I need to be able to get the money that I am costing us every month this year back onto dh's check next year. I need the temper tantrum smilie here.
I'm close to the 10% lose but if I get there I'm not sure I'll have enough buffer for clothes. With 2 days left, I'm onto last ditch effort stuff (and no, it isn't all the healthiest options). I figure some of the weight I take off will come back on and as long as it is gone Wednesday afternoon I'm not worried about it coming back Thursday (I'll start back Thursday the right way to get it all back off permanently).
So 2 days away, that is where I am, trying to meet a new goal because the last goal was eliminated as an option (and they don't release the program guide until a few weeks before the exams start). I'll be weighing every piece of clothing I have between now and then so I can wear the most light weight outfit I own. It should be warm enough that I can get away with shorts, t-shirt & flip flops. I'd usually try to look a little nicer when going up to see dh at work but desperate times call for desperate measure.

I didn't get as much water in today as I wanted to. Only got in about 90 ozs (which isn't even my normal) but I've been doing really low sodium since last week. I didn't get all the steps I wanted today either but its just the way it is. I've weighed out my clothes for tomorrow (found an outfit that is ok but not something I'd wear normally). My outfit weighs .6 of a pound and if I'm over by that much I seriously might tell them I need to weigh in nothing! It is a fasting exam and it is late in the day so hopefully, that will help me out.

It has been crazy busy lately!! I hit my 10% loss + 3.4 pounds! My glucose level which was 1 point away from prediabetes level dropped by 19 points too!! So I showed enough improvement to lose the extra "fat fee" on our insurance. Next year, I'll have to be under the company BMI because now I'm less than 10% loss away from their BMI goal. I'm less than 1 BMI point from company goal now. I have to keep moving and I'm almost glad they started this program because it keeps me accountable.

That's great!!! I'm glad that you both hit your goal (and beyond!) and that you have accountability to keep on going. Great job!!
