finally some progress! I'm down almost 10 pounds from my start weight (and my highest weight ever - even higher than any end of pregnancy weight). I still have 35 pounds to go before my annual medical check with dh's employer. 35 lbs won't be done (that'll just get me out of the obese Bmi range) but that'll take the $30 extra off our health insurance every month. I'll still have at least 25 pounds after I hit their goal but I am focusing on the "money" goal first.
I'm not really following any plan. Some days I do low cal and some days I do low carb and focus on moving more. Right now, my "plan" seems to be working so I am going to stick with it.

I'm usually really good about taking measurements but I didn't take any at the beginning of the month. I did take a before picture. I don't think I've had much size difference yet. My clothes aren't fitting any better yet but hopefully that will come soon.

Okay so measure, nets say I'm down 6.25" total. Some areas have actually gained. Weight wise I have gone up and down a lot. From my highest point I am down 6 pounds, from my mid point I'm down 2.5. Still I'm headed in the right direction

I missed the end of month 2, I was completely stalled out. That always discourages me so I've gone back up some and working to get that back off again.

I started training for a 5K today with my 2 oldest girls. We are going to do a Color Run in September. I was a little disappointed that I had to modify training today. I'm in such sad shape that I can't even run for a minute at a time. We've got plenty of time and I'm doing a 6-week program so I figure I'll do Week 1 twice (and maybe Week 2 twice too) while I work on my endurance. I think it'll be fun having my girls training with me (because I doubt I have the attention span to do it alone).

Good for you! You can do it! Especially with the help of your girls.

Good job training for the 5k. I did that also a few years ago. It took me months to get through the 9 week program but I did it!

Story of my life -stalled again in May and gained back everything (it seriously amazes me that I can gain 10 pounds in a matter of days without any major changes to eating or exercise level).
Anyway, back on track now and down 8 pounds (7.9 pounds technically) since June 1. My medical check will be sometime in September. My goals for the screening (so they'll take off my "fat fee") are move from Level 2 to Level 1 in BMI range - less than 34.4 BMI Or 10% weight loss from last years results (which is between 18 & 19 pounds).
As of right now, the BMI level change is about 6 pounds away & the 10% weight loss (from last year) is 11 pounds away (using 19 as the 10% percent number.)
5k training has slowed down to very little because it is just so stinkin' hot and humid. We are in the high 90s most days (and it gets there early) and humidity is high the air is just too thick to be in.

Some progress has been made since June 1. Not as much weight off as I would like because while it is not all about the weight to the insurance company it is all about the weight (so frustrating that weight & bmi are the only real factors they use to determine my health).
Anyway, it is what it is on that front, so some numbers since June 1. I'm down 7.5 pounds, 2 inches in my waist (the only inch measurements that were taken), my body fat percentage is down 1.3% and BMI is down 1.4.
Exercise has been good most of the time. Last week was a vacation of sorts (moved the inlaws to the beach) so exercise was down some & eating was not as good. I've had a couple of bad days of eating this week but exercise has been good this week so it is balancing out. I need to get eating back on track and kick up exercise another notch or two.
