A couple Pico De Gallo (fresh salsa) recipes: Linderlou: 2 large ripe tomatoes, chopped 1 jalapeño, chopped (can leave seeds in if you like it HOT) 1 green onion, chopped 1/2 cup chopped cilantro 1 tsp minced garlic Add to taste: lemon pepper, salt, cumin Fresh lime juice
Stir all ingredients together. Cover and allow to chill for about 1 hour for flavors to blend.
1joyfulBelle: What I put in mine was peeled,finely chopped tomatoes (about five of them), finely chopped onion, minced garlic (about three cloves), a tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro, some minced green pepper, about three seeded small jalepeneo(sp) peppers minced, and a cup of vinegar...plus I think I put a little salt in and a little sugar.
