and I am soooooooooooo tired. I think I'm going to make a cup of coffee and then take a power nap. I also need to empty the dishwasher and make lunches before I leave. I hate coming home late and having that stuff looming over my head.

I really hate evening activities. Were you able to get any rest before?

I really hate evening activities. Were you able to get any rest before? Yes - I got a 20 minute nap. My whole life is made up of evening activities with the kids' sports schedules. I keep telling myself this is the last year with the worst schedule. Next year, my boys will be on the same schedule for sports since they will both be in high school (gulp!). This year, Brody (my youngest) has all of his games during the week mostly, and my oldest, Brock has his games on the weekends. So basically, the ENTIRE week is taken up with games. They also have different practice schedules this year which won't be the case next year! Yeah!!! Of course, next year I'll be all sad because it will be Brock's senior year. That is SO hard for me to grasp!

Our kids must be the same age. My youngest will be a Freshman and my oldest a Senior. Our schedule will be a bit easier next year in regards to music. They'll both have concerts on the same days. I'm not ready to have a Senior in high school. As busy as these girls keep me and as crazy as it makes me - I know I will be sad when I don't have to run people to school, music lessons, youth group, work etc. (sigh) Guess we should enjoy the busyness now.

I know the feeling! It really is a full time job. My dd has to be at the school at 6:30 AM, 6 days a week since Dec. 1 for volleyball practice. DS has 4 games per week, and dd sometimes has 4 basketball games per week. Then they have practices on the nights they don't have games and we live 20 minutes from school. Every stage of mothering is busy in different ways. It goes so fast, I'm trying to enjoy every second and thank God that i am able to go instead of having to work evenings.
