I've mentioned before that she has bee working night shift at Walmart (she has been there for about 6 months) and she really needs something else. She can't keep up with night shift. It is just too much on strain on her. I haven't liked it from the beginning (she is in her mid 60s and it is too much physical work). Even if the job today isn't the greatest if nothing else it has to be safer for her (not as physical and not driving 30 mins home after working all night long).
Please pray.

Just saw this - saying a prayer for your mom. I'm only 41 and I wouldn't want to work the night shift at Walmart either!

UGH! The night shift is awful… Did it when I was in my 20's for many years at the hospital. Felt like I was coming down with the flu ALL.THE.TIME.
And I also had a 30 min ride home. AWFUL!
Praying that she could find something more manageable! Hoping this job she interviews for will be good!

Thank you for the prayers!! She stopped by here on her way home and said she thought it went really well. They showed her where she would be working and introduced her to the babies (it is a daycare) that she would be keeping. Hopefully all that is a good sign. She said that they told her they had to meet as a committee to decide (she met with the director of the daycare this morning & this afternoon was the director of the nursery). Hopefully, she will hear something soon. This would really be a good job for her (loving on babies is kind of her thing).  |

Update!! She got the job!!! Hours are about the same little less money but it is day shift so I know it will be less stress on her. She'll start this Friday (and she'll also finish out this week at her current job on night shift).

And working with little ones… how great!!!!!!!! |
