that I was spared being in a chain reaction accident on I-64 in Richmond a few days ago. Isaac and I were on our way home from his music class across town. Imagine a sudden stop ahead with everyone slamming on their brakes trying to avoid each other ... and I was able to find a little slot to fit into between two other cars as we all came to a stop (or else I would have hit them). I was still bracing to be hit from the rear, but although two cars collided immediately behind me , Isaac and I were spared. I actually felt that angels were around us. It turns out there was a burned car/emergency vehicles a few miles ahead that closed one lane and slowed traffic ... but why the sudden stop, I'm not sure. Isaac was panicked and crying - it was so screechy and I think he saw and heard the chaos and the impact behind us. He ended up getting some candy, a new Matchbox car and a bag of colored Goldfish on the way home. Some of that was a reward for a great music class. Even if I had been impacted, I would have known that God allowed it, and had something for me to learn about myself and Him. But still, I am thankful to have avoided being crunched this time. \0/

That's so wonderful, Rebecca. I'm glad you were spared.
