I'm running a 5k February 8, and I'm doing the program so that I can complete the mileage. At the same time, I'm doing the running portions at the pace that I'd like to maintain for the race.

The C25K program I have seen gives you a length of time to run or a distance to run when you are training and I was just curious as to which option you use. I'm guessing you are using a different program.

Oh. Ok. Got it.
yes, my program does that.
It assumes a ten-minute mile.
I run a 9.33-minute mile so I hit the distance before I hit their suggested time. I stop running when I hit the distance.
(sorry- spent all afternoon at the pool- have sun brain)
