-Today is our 7th anniversary. It feels longer than that but we've been friends since I was 12, started dating when I was 16, and married when I was 21. We aren't doing anything today. Our weekend away is coming up so we will go out for a nice dinner one of those nights.
- A friend was getting right of a bunch of stuff, including a tan/gray recliner. We picked it up after church. I got it cleaned up and Febreezed. Supposedly a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and a nylon scrub brush will help finish cleaning it and make it soft again, not shiny (whoever though using microfiber to upholster furniture was a good idea...) The only thing wrong with it is that it is hard to get the foot rest down while you are sitting in it. But it is sooooo much better than the butt numbing cheap glider we had been using (had been in DD's room). It is helping with the fact that we can no longer afford a new sofa with all the medical bills about to show up.
- I'm sick of this cough. It keeps me up at night so then I'm dragging all morning. Tried a cup of coffee this morning but it made me dizzy. Should have had more water first.
- I'm trying to find good storage for Build-a-Bear clothes and accessories. I would like to get DD more for her bear but not until I have a way of storing them. You can get BAB clothes for cheap on ebay. I really want to get one of those bookcases that isn't shelves but cubes for her room. Then I can put baskets in there to hold more. She doesn't play in her room but it would help with toy management. We could bring out one basket at a time for something special to play with.
- DD pooped on the potty for the first time in weeks yesterday. There was a tiny bit of mucus on her bum when I wiped her but I didn't see any other sign of prolapse! I'm hoping that means she didn't but she wouldn't let me in the bathroom to check so I'm not entirely sure. If she did prolapse, it resolved very quickly. So it's nice to know we are on the right track. Hopefully by her birthday in March this will all be a distance memory. If see can do this consistently for a week or two, I can start adding back in more food to her diet. I've already added some but she is missing milk, juice, fruit, etc.
- I'm super lazy and am renewing our library books so I don't have to go until tomorrow. lol. Too "bleck" this morning to go anywhere. I am managing to get the house closer to how I normally keep it after a month of random medical issues, sickness, etc. But that's it. I think my energy is gone. Here's hoping DD naps so I can too. Friday when I desperately needed one she refused and was very loud. She's not very good at being quiet during rest time unless she actually sleeps. We're working on it but...it's slow going.
