I always feel a bit like this  ....when someone changes their name.
I have changed my name!!!!!!
I think this is a first for me.
I am now sandwichmaker.
I WAS tepupmommy, which I really feel that I have out grown.
So NOW....I am sandwichmaker....which I somewhat describe in my signature....a reminder for me and something for me to ponder.
I am 43 years old. I have been married for 20 years. I have 5 kids plus one. My daughters are 16 and 10. My sons are 14,12,6. For almost a year we have been raising a 16 year old friend of my dd. She will most likely be with us until adulthood. I was on the other board for about 13 years. I homeschooled for many, many years. Last year my oldest 3 entered public school. This year my youngest two followed. I think that is about it.

Cshore my old name was Romanian and it translated, "I kiss you mommy". The "I kiss you" being a greeting...kind of like a hello. My dear friend that dh and I served with in Romania was tepup somewhere online...maybe her email....I don't even remember so anyway.....that was a LONG time ago.
You know....I have been in an interesting place for awhile...and I don't really mean that in a good way.
I read a quote the other day that really spoke to me because this might be a part of what God has called me to...a part of myself I deny a bit too much.
"We are a forgetful people. We need storytellers. We nee someone to lay the drama of God's love before us. We need to be reminded of the uncommon grace of God." - William R. White
And then I watched the new movie on the life of Rich Mullins....and it seems he struggled with where God led.
And THEN I saw this quote online about Goliath and David and sandwiches....and I so very often in my life feel like I want to rush out and be a giant slayer.... this is sometimes my hearts desire....and I find God calling me so often to be a sandwich maker....and sometimes when one is longing to be a giant slayer, it is easy to become distracted from being a sandwich maker an then nothing is accomplished....and so when I saw this...it made me think and it is still making me think...so maybe I can't explain it any better....but these things are working together in me...somehow.
I LOVE seeing you ladies again!
