My cousin's grandfather died (I'm in the South so cousin's grandfather is a relationship that gets a funeral visit LOL). He was a World War 11 vet so they had some army guys there to play taps and present the flag. The kids really thought that was a neat experience. Baby girl (whose days don't count anyway because she is 5) asked if we could count it as a field trip. They are all hoping I can arrange it to have a field trip at the Funeral home (the funeral director is my cousin's uncle).

I am hoping we can get a good long break from funerals after this.
