I took our tree and decorations down the day after Christmas. Normally, I leave it up for longer, but I was tired of telling the puppy to leave the stuff alone.

Ours came down on Monday. It takes up SO MUCH of our living room space. I have loved having it down, although I loved having it up too.  |

Our tree, when its up, sits in front of our back door. (Don't worry I've thought about emergency exit - just yank the tree over! ) We don't use that door in the winter anyway because it goes right from the outside into our living room - and carpet. Bad combo with kids and a dog. But the cat still thinks HE should be able to use that door. And he is happy to have HIS door back now.  |
