I started packing the decorations away, but I'm not ready to part up with the tree just yet...
How about you??

I'm more than ready to part with the tree, but that involves asking DH to get all of the boxes down again. All the decorations are up and so is the tree. Maybe DD3 will have a birthday tree this year (her bday is on the 30th). It's happened before.

Everything is down. The tree was growing cones and every time you brushed up against it, you came back yellow with pollen. I have a box sitting in my living room. The rest of the boxes are in the basement, waiting for DH to help me get them tucked back in under the steps.

Most stuff came down this past Sunday - including the tree. A few things had to wait until Wednesday after life got crazy early in the week.

We still have ours up. I hadn't planned to leave it up this long, but my son was working so much last month that he wasn't home a lot. He asked if we could leave it up a little longer, so that he could enjoy it some. It's coming down tomorrow, probably.

December and Christmas was just so...well, whatever it was, so we were trying to enjoy it a little longer.

I love to enjoy it for as long as I can. But it is getting so dry! I wish it would last forever. Our tree is undecorated, so now DH will have to find sometime to get it out of here and throw it in the crick or burn it. Its sad, I love Christmas! I am still listening to podcasts on Christmas. I'm not ready to stop enjoying the season yet.

Christmas stuff came down a day or two after Christmas. The tree (smallish) went into dd's room (xmas decor off) and she put white lights, bday streamers and balloons and had it as her "birthday tree". Really cute.

We got it all down Monday. It was raining and we couldn't do anything outside anyway so we got all the Christmas stuff out!

Our tree is still up. It is our only Christmas decorations. I would like it to be down but I haven't been in the mood to deal with all the packing of ornaments, taking of lights of tree, disassembling the tree. So......it will be up a while longer. I leave for Texas in the morning and I doubt my family will put it away when I'm gone.
