I just finished taking a shower and dh started knocking on the door saying he had to get in there. Well, I was getting dressed, so he came hustling in - said he was a mess. I wasn't sure what he meant but when I went back to check on him he was sitting on the floor and said he felt sick. He started with the same respiratory symptoms I had when I had influenza.
Do you get a sick stomach with actual influenza (not the stomach flu, obviously)? I know I felt a bit nauseous the first few days I was coming down with this too, but I always have stomach issues so sometimes I don't know, kwim. :dunno: I always take charcoal and I didn't eat very much either. I hope he doesn't have the stomach flu AND the influenza we've been passing around. Selfishly, I don't want the rest of us to catch it and for him, either, poor guy.
I offered him charcoal but he refused it and I tried to take his temp earlier but he wouldn't let me. :\

I'm praying if it is a stomach thing, it will be short lived - like 24 hours or something. I don't think he was up again during the night so I guess that is a good sign, right? I suppose I should go buy him some sprite or ginger ale. I usually keep some on hand but everyone drank up my supply.
