Biking is the exercise that I seem to be able to stick with...
so this year I plan to bike 4,000 miles. breaking that down, it's 80 miles a week for 50 weeks. My average ride is 20-25 miles, my longest has been 52 miles
last year i did 1,000 miles (that was biking for a month, then taking a month off, then biking another month, then taking 2 months off)
so really, consistency is the real goal.
I'd like to add yoga a few times a week
what's the song say? fat bottom girls, you make the rockin world go round (get on your bikes and ride)......

This winter my plan is spin class (hoping for a 2nd class to be added) and walking the dog - maybe once she's a little older I can hit the indoor walking track again. I love bike riding. But that won't happen until at least March - April at the earliest. I'm not a cold weather biking kind of girl. I'd like to try yoga. Haven't yet. My dd's dr. suggested it for her. I should look again for a class for the 2 of us this winter.

I'm on day 6 of a 40-day challenge to exercise every day.
I had been walking the dog, but now I'm back to the gym.

I have a plan, it's kinda rough still but I have a plan. For the next 28 or so days: walking 30 minutes a day fines times a week and doing fitness blender's new 4 week stretching,yoga, and Pilates program The next month I hope to move on to FB l4 week low impact program, followed by their second 4 week low impact program and then hopefully their 8 week program (I forget which particular one I have).
I know that may not sound challenging but I have hip joint issues that I'm hoping will deminish as I lose weight and then I can go onto more challenging workouts.
If things go according to that plan it will take me to the end of May.

My plan is a pipe dream, but I'm going for it. This year I want to do some sort of fun fitness activity with each and every one of my facebook friends. I will have to figure out how to get to several distant states and Germany. Hey, it could happen, right? I look forward to catching up with friends and family I haven't seen and do it some other place than a bar and grill! LOL!
