Super cold here and just going to get colder. We've been pretty fortunate so far this season. Our first snowfall - it's light and fluffy. Maybe 2-3"? But when the wind kicks up this afternoon it's going to be a mess. Temps are supposed to drop to -35 to -40 with the windchill over night.  I'm going to attempt to drive my girls to school today. too cold to wait outside for the bus. Tomorrow I may just keep them home. School is very rarely cancelled in our area so I'm not counting on that. What's the weather like by you? Getting hit with winter this week? |

We are also freezing with wind chills tomorrow to be below zero. We are currently getting snow with a possibility of 3-4 inches total today. Current temperature is in the teens. The school kids have a 2 hour delay as it stands right now. Yesterday was there first day back to school since Christmas break.

Really cold. We are in single digits at night & not getting above freezing during the day. A lot of our stuff is cancelled just because it is so cold.

Just really getting into winter temps here. 6 degrees right now. Should hit the teens by afternoon. Thursday's high is 6. Below zero most nights this week.
January and February are typically like that here but our December temps were fairly mild. So a lot of people are freaking out that it is "sooooo cold". I find it funny because these cold temps are normal for us.

Warm! Unseasonably warm. Too warm. We were 55 yesterday. We need snow. The mountains need snow. Our orchards need colder weather or our trees are going to get all messed up!
Now me!? I love that it isn't freezing.... But it's not all about me, right?

We had a great December,but we have 15 inches of snow right now and we might get 22 more wed. It has been below 0 every night and it 3 above right now.
Deadly wind chills--- our schools are closed.

Wow, I was going to complain about my -10 windchill but have decided to just keep my mouth shut and shiver quietly to myself. LOL

-10 windchill is cold, but we don't have a ton of snow and don't have to go anywhere, so I can't complain.

I can take the cold,but this snow is killing me...There is no place to shovel it to,it is piled so high already.
We get the lake effect and the lake isn't frozen yet because dec was so warm.
We are getting all our dec snow this week.
I don't have to go out,but the birds realllly need food now and I like to get my mail and pull garbage down.
