Ok so I miss our old board for this reason. I need help getting myself organized. I work 35 hours a week (school hours) and then my kids are 10 & 13 1/2 so they are each in after school activities. And my 10 year still needs homework help. I always get my daily to-do list done. Weekly stuff (clean bathrooms, vacuum, clean my car) that kind of stuff isn't getting done regularly. And then I have stuff that has to get stuff done once and then never again. Help! I also walk my dog every day...

Here's my tips:
Make a list of all that needs to get done daily ( your usual To-Do's) PLUS all of the extras ( car cleaning, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, errands)
Assign your kids, your DH and yourself chores to do, and maybe team up DH and DD1 , you and DD2 for some labor intensive chores. Some chores for weekdays, some for weekends
Timers used to work well for us ( set 20 min to "speed" through
Make a list of projects that need to get done and assign a "complete by" date

Maybe assign different weekly tasks to a certain day of the week?
Currently my weekly things look like this: Monday - vacuum (major) Tuesday - change our bed Wednesday - minor vacuum Friday - clean bathrooms/kitchen sink, minor vacuum
It varies a bit depending on what is going on in my week, but this is more or less what it stays. I don't have as much going on as you do, but I do find having things done on certain days helps make sure they get done reasonably regularly.

I miss those days (a bit)....having all the kids at home and spending most of my life in the car. If you always load the washer/dryer and dishwasher every am, at least something is done. For the rest - pick one task a day....living room on Friday (so you have somewhere to hang on the weekend that is clean), bathrooms on monday, kitchen on tues, car and yard on wed, etc.....and your kids are old enough to definitely help.....give them assignments also. Even if they do a half way job, it's better than nothing

That's good, bookie! I feel so overwhelmed and actually more tired ( mentally and emotionally) if I do not have a handle on things
