He is on his way home from New York City right now. He did a 50 mile in 20 hour walk around the city, and completed it with 35 minutes to spare. He was with three of his CrossFit Buddies, who are all in their 30s. One dropped out only a few hours after starting. they had 25 or so check in points on the walk where they needed to take a selfie and post to Instagram. They walked from 9 p.m. last night in torrential rain and heavy winds until 5 p.m. today.
Can't wait to see him.

He is pretty good today. Moving very slow. One of the guys wives drove into NYC because they were all in too much pain to take the train . He could barely walk or speak when she dropped him off at home. He said it was the most mental and physical pain he has ever been in. He's run marathons, he does crossfit and weight lifting, did wrestling all through high school, jujitsu for a while... and has lived with frequent severe migraines since age 5. He said he would never ,ever do this again. He finished. He didn't even care at one point, just wanted to get back and go home. One of his friends is 35 and in excellent shape.works out daily. At hour 6 he hailed a cab to Union Station, waited til 5am and took the train back to CT. B. wanted to go with him so bad. But he persisted. He is resting . Hoping he can work tomorrow.

I can see why he wouldn't want to do it again. But finishing that is something that he will remember for years to come.  |

What an accomplishment!!! Congrats to your son!!!
I can't imagine how sore they all are....theyll be immobile for days!
