I've been putting my first routing colonoscopy for 2 years.
It is tomorrow . Have to be there by 7:45.
I have to be up at 4 to do the 2nd round of prep. I did not even finish the first this afternoon when it started to work.
Horrible salty fruity nastiness. *Gag*
I will have some Michael Jackson Propofal and hopefully have nothing abnormal show up.
Off to eat some more jello and drink some more broth, and sleep.
I'll let you know how it goes!!

I'm sorry. My DH has been through that.
Praying all goes well tonight for sleep and for the procedure tomorrow!
(On a side note, we use Propfal in dogs too - not generally alone but rather as induction to get them intubated, although it can be titrated alone too.)

Home and all is well!
So so so easy!
The prep was so horrendous, but what can you do?
Propofal is a wonder drug. I was talking to the anesthesiologist, and then I woke up in recovery. Can't recall a thing.
And no nausea.
They found a little diverticulosis ( which runs in the family), and they biopsied 2 spots ( not suspicious, but they biopsy anything out of the norm) , 1 near my appendix ( it was red) and 1 near the ileocecal valve ( just a node )

The prep is definitely not fun but it wasn't as bad as everyone told me. So you hang out in the bathroom for several hours. No biggie. The procedure itself? A breeze. I'm glad you started on your road to maintaining colon health.
