WHat is your weather like these days?? We had RAIN yesterday here on the coast. The rest of the state had snow. It's low 30's How about you?  |

muddy dog feet, muddy shoes - just mud
Frozen would be preferable. We've had almost no snow this year, even when temps were optimal for it. Now its not even frozen - just muddy.

It's been crazy cold (way below zero) BUT we have a few day warm up in store. 40 on Friday is a possibility.

We had the deep freeze from Christmas until last week. Teens and below zero windchills. I can do without that!!

Our school district had a pre-planned snow make up day for tomorrow. But since we haven't had occasion to need a snow day, they just get the day off tomorrow. Thus summerizes our winter so far. They've had one day of delayed school for ice. And we did have ice over Christmas break too.
(School-wise, this coming Monday is a teacher in-service day (I think) - either way, no school for kids! Kind of ridiculous considering this week's Monday was a holiday too!)

We keep cycling from fringed cold to mid 40's. I wish it would just stay cold. We had maybe 3" inches of snow late Tuesday night (it was actually suppose to come in during the day but got delayed somewhere) and now we have mud for the next week as temperatures are suppose to warm for this time of year.
