He is attending community college this year ( to save money) but he really does not like it.
He applied where DD attend ( That we loved… so very exciting), and another school, that my sister attended in the 70's. His girlfriend applied to both, too… we shall see.

Exciting times! Praying God will make it clear by provision and direction where He wants your DS to go!

I know this is late... but how did it turn out? I even forgot I'd posted this!!! First, Jen, I've missed you!!!!!!!!!! Second, DS1 will be attending community college for 1 more year. He has 2 semesters full of classes he needs and can do more cheaply there than at the state university. SO he will apply again next year and go then. It's the same university DD attended . We loved EVERYTHING about it! His girlfriend is commuting to college as its only 40 min away. She was not ready to leave home ( she is 17) and live on campus. Next year!! I would love for them to go to college and live there on campus. Only because DD had such a great experience.

Very cool!! DS1 has been accepted to 2 schools... and we haven't heard back from 2. Trying to be patient... but he's 17 - ROFL! KUP! Which school will he attend??? He's attending Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA (a far western suburb of DC). It's a very small school, but the Lord has opened doors and blessed him immensely, so I have a total peace about it. It's about 5.1/2 hours away, but my IL's and sister are only 2 hours from him, so that will be fine. We take him on the 20th/21st for move-in and orientation. A cool blessing... a friend of his changed schools and is going to be his roommate. They've been on the debate team for 2 years and are hoping to do the Moot Court team together at PHC. Lord willing. As for your son... thanks for the update. DS2 is doing Dual Enrollment at the community college for his senior year. He may stay on another year, although he's starting to look at a couple of the state schools and Embry-Riddle... so we'll see.
