What does everyone do in November ?
I bought some tulip bulbs that need to be planted.
My sis is hosting Thanksgiving, so I am mostly working on xmas gifts, cleaning, and prepping to get ready to decorate for Xmas.
(plus all the usual, work, baby sit, etc)

I need to take screens down for the winter and clean the outside of the windows today. Still need to empty the gas of my weedeater - I waited because I wasn't sure if I was done with it or not but now I have decided its done for the year. I will put up our outside Christmas lights at some point in the next week or so. I like to do it early so I can ensure a day that DH is home (because I have to climb on the roof) and the weather is decent. I won't actually turn them on until after Thanksgiving dinner though. We need to get the studded tires put on 2 of our vehicles that have them. We'll load the tires into the truck this weekend and I will do probably early next week. The car will come after that. Its weird this year though. Usually, because of kids at home, I have to plan around when DH is home and can either help or just go himself. This year with both kids in school, I can just do it whenever it works for me! Weird! (If DH gets to it first great - but its nice not to have get it done on his first available day just because we have to.) Much of my other outside fall stuff is done already. Hoses are put away. Chicken light and heated water dish are up. We got a rabbit earlier this fall (outdoor pet rabbit) - I did some work yesterday to winterize his pen but I have a little more to do yet. I have a heated water bucket for my goats, but I won't put that out until it stays below freezing during most of the day (I just thaw their regular bucket with warm water in the morning right now.) My garden is already plowed in for winter. I still have a few plants in flowerbeds to trim back. I actually love fall winterizing tasks!
