I have thought about this thread more today... and I have to admit... being one that HATES goodbyes as I had them SO much growing up... there's a part of me that feels sad but also relieved. Now that's as a kid with a sibling leaving or a friend or whatever.. not as a mom to my kid... but goodbyes are still difficult for me that I often contemplated how to avoid them (rarely did, however).
