of using the meat we are blessed with (deer from last season and beef left from last year) and this afternoon dh and my dad discovered that someone had broken into our farmhouse (here on the farm - no one lives there - we use it for storage now - dh and I had planned to try to fix it up to live in it but it needed too much work to make that happen) and they stole among other things all of the meat we had left in the freezer over there!! The freezer there was our "overflow" freezer.
So much for saving money by making sure we ate that meat. :thud: It is ok that I hope they get food poisoning when they eat it. I mean it is obvious we don't have much when the main thing you steal is our food!!
Grrr... And it was my dad's birthday.

I'm sorry, N! That's so frustrating... but I'm with 2lp... or even better... pray that it meets their needs. Perhaps they were in desperate need? I know, I know... probably not the case but you never know.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family. I did not sleep well last night at all. Dh said that he thought someone may have been back early this morning (3 ish am). Very unsettling. |

Okay, that really really stinks.
I guess maybe pray for them and hope that it blesses them? Maybe they need it more than you? Doubtful, right. But maybe. At least if you think about it that way you can keep from being bitter.
