so it has been sometime since I posted. My update on life is full of prayer request . My Dad passed away on July 5 just 10 days shy of his 77th birthday. He fought a long hard battle with
Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia. He is at peace now and I am grateful to the Lord for taking him from his pain. It is so hard to know that I have to wait to see him but I take comfort in the blessing of his eternal life! My Mom is really struggling with loneliness and my concern for her health issues are still present.
Just a week after getting home to Tn. from Ohio where my parent lived we got news that my Father In Law has lung cancer. He has other health issues and he is nearly 80 yrs old. . They told him if he did not seek treatment it would be a life expectancy of 6 months. His cancer is advancing and with treatment they say 1-2 years. God only knows.
With all this news I have felt like it has been a one two punch in the gut. It is so hard to see the look on my kids face as they see what is happening with their grandparents.
My daughter entered her senior year of high school today. My son with enter college at our local University at the end of the month. Life seems to be moving fast in the Roush household.
Please say a prayer for us as we met new challenges and changes. God bless you all . I treasure my Hearts Sisters in Christ.
