On Sunday morning Dd is going to visit her best friend. It's a 5 hour flight. She is terrified of flying and this will be her first time flying alone.
She has a connecting flight 3/4 of the way there, so she is really feeling anxious about that too. It's taking her a lot of courage to do this. Please pray for peace for her and that everything will go smoothly with the connection. Thank you so much!

I will definitely pray!!
I know the feeling of the fear of flying. I am not a "frequent flyer"….5 years ago , we went to Disney. It was the first time flying with the kids…all 5 of us went… And the logistics of finding the gate, the terminal… making it through security on time… not knowing what to expect… We also had a layover… finding yet another terminal and gate in a HUGE airport…. I was so stressed.
There were many people around to ask/ to help. Leaving LOTS of time is helpful…It was actually so much fun, once I did it! ( DH was not at all helpful… he and I traveled the same amount of times, together…So it's not like one of us was an experienced traveler...
I will pray for a safe , happy and easy trip!!!

And GOOD FOR HER for doing it! So many people left their fear dictate what they do and don't do… The longer you don't do something you fear, the less likely you will ever do it. I hope and pray she will do just fine…  |

Thanks so much for your kind respond and especially your prayers. She got there safe and sound! Everything went really smoothly for her. I am so thankful for your prayers, they really helped!  I am so proud of her and that she mustered up the courage to go even though she was afraid! |

I missed the flight prayer time but I'm glad it went so well. Good for her to do it! Praying she has a great time with her friend and her return trip will go just as well.
