He's been moaning and groaning, has chills and he's been vomiting. I don't do puke well. I tried to help him, but I have such a visceral reaction to it that I start to do it myself. I ran the other way when he started. Other than that I'm a fantastic nurse.
Would you please pray that he gets well quickly? He's supposed to officially start working as a tax preparer tomorrow.

He called his boss to tell him he couldn't make it. Considering how much he'd be interacting with the public at work I think that was a wise choice.
Thanks for praying!

I agree, that was a good choice. Prayers he gets over it soon. Such a bad year for illnesses all the way around.

Hope he feels better soon. That bug has made it's way through my extended family over the past week. Fortunately, everyone has had symptoms for less than 24 hours. On another note, I feel your pain. I, too, am a "sympathetic vomiter". It's very hard when one of my kindergarten students is sick and I want to comfort them but often do it from across the room. :-)

Thank you for the prayers! DH no longer feels nauseous and has graduated to chicken & rice soup. He still feels really weak, though, with an occasional chill so he's still fighting something off. He may need to take tomorrow off, too. Fortunately, it's very early days in the tax season. Mom works at the same office DH does. She said they had one client the whole day today. Anyway, if he has to miss work now's the time to do it.
