No, NOTpregnant. Just because I put the words best and mother's day in the same sentence I did not mean that. LOL!
I got...and hour and a half of complete alone time at home!!!
For an introvert that thrives on time alone - and who hasn't had it at all probably since Christmas - this was HUGE to me!
DS went to a birthday party this afternoon. DH took DD to the park. Even the dog (who I love but who is very often literally under my feet) went to the park too. That left me and the cat. And it was blissfully quiet and wonderful!
Quite truthfully, I have been just about running on empty for at least the last couple of weeks, I think just out of need to be totally alone with no one who might need/want me at any given moment. I now feel quite refreshed and ready to keep being wife and mom.
