I attend this little church, Gamboa Union, that is nestled between the canal and the rainforest. Gamboa (the town) was a much bigger deal when the Americans were in Panama, but since they left, it really is just a forgotten place. This morning, we had no more than 70 people in attendance. Probably, 20-25 of those people are regulars, but we always have about 70 people. Our pastor, who came 40 years ago, decided to introduce everyone. There were 18 nations represented! 18! I just thought that was kind of cool. Just wanted to share.  |

That reminds me of something that the Lord put on my heart this morning to try here. I was thinking that we should have a weekly thread here about what the Lord taught/showed/whatever'd us in church services that week. I bet that that would be a blessing to read each week. |

DO IT. How about if I just tag you, and make you it. Then you can do it. hahaha.  I'd like to try a thread like that too. I'd love to read how the Lord spoke to others. I'm sure that it'd be encouraging to others (me) to hear what the Lord used every week to speak into our lives. I don't think that it'd need to be something that the mods had to post though. Maybe we could come up with a creative name for it, and then anyone who wanted to post it that week, could post. :dunno: Now, who's feeling creative and wants to figure out a name. lol. It'd be next year if I tried to name it b/c it takes me too long to come up with good names for things. |
