I now have 2 gainfully employed boys at the local Chick-fil-a. They LOVE it (although DS2 has only done the online training, not the in-house training, yet). They're very excited about all the things they'll earn ($$ & free food)... I'm excited by all they're learning (not the least of which are time & money management) I feel blessed that we're still able to make it on only 2 cars, and that appears to be so at least through the end of the year.  |

Are they trying to coordinate their schedules for you? My oldest loves working at Chik-Fil-A. Well, not really. It hasn't been too inconvenient, though. The boys have the same availability, so that helps some. Since November, though, they've not been getting as many hours as they had been and I think DS1 is rather bummed about it. DS2 is a little bummed, but doesn't have quite the seeming expenditures -LOL!!! I don't really mind, since they're both doing dual enrollment college classes, as well as preparing to compete in 5 or so Speech & Debate tournaments this spring... but they could use a few more. |

Hi Jenn! Where have you been!!!! Honestly, I have no real excuse. In the spring we got busy with speech and debate tournaments, that was followed by summer which was followed by vacation nationals, and other varied responsibilities. I do wish somebody who has gone on before me would’ve told me about all of the deadlines and what not associated with having a senior. I have enough friends who have done this that I feel like one of them could’ve warned me.🤔 Between college visits, applications, scholarship opportunities, and homeschooling for children, not to mention “everything else” it’s been very busy. That said, we haven’t had anything super dramatic happened, just a lot of normal. Glad to check in. Hope you can be more regularly now that some of DS1’s stuff is taken care of. Of course I’ll have a senior next year, and then another one two out of the next three years. But at least now I know better. |

So good to catch up... I have a college freshman attending community college applying to transfer to a state university and a high school senior... it's busy ... So good to "see" you!!!!!!!!!! |
