I have been having this pain in my back right at my bra line off and on probably since the beginning of the year, maybe. I've had it before and it was usually after sitting at the computer for a long time.
But, I also recently read a blog post series about a woman (I know her virtually but not irl), who lost her mom to pancreatic cancer. Now, I can't get that out of my mind. Hers started with pain in her back that got worse and worse until she was finally diagnosed at stage 4 and died shortly thereafter. I know it's somewhat silly - I don't have any other symptoms (and I DID look them up!), but I'm wondering if I should go get this checked or what. It's not all the time, and it does tend to be after I've been sitting at my computer for a while. I don't know. I feel dumb, but I'd appreciate prayers for a) wisdom on what to do and b) that it would just go away and not come back! lol Thanks!

Prayers for wisdom and peace in your decision - and that it will go away!

prayers that it will go away!
*Sounds like* it may be a nerve or muscle twinge /ache due to your position while at the computer ( especially since it is not continuous) The pain would not go away if it were anything bad,,, or at least not reoccur ONLY when at the computer.
I would try taking ibuprofen or tylenol for it, see if that helps…
And if it continues longer, and you are still feeling nervous, then definitely call the doctor. A little peace of mind goes a LONG way!!

A little peace of mind goes a LONG way!! Well, it seems to "start" when I sit at the computer a long time, and then it will bother me for a few days after that. Then it seems to go away. I also find if I haven't been doing much yoga or if I have to "ahem" get a bit backed up in the bathroom department, I will notice a twinge - always in that same spot. Anyway, I guess if it doesn't go away by the weekend, I'll go to my family doctor. I will feel a bit goofy but I suppose that's better than sitting here stewing!

I started having some muscle spasms right in that spot, so I'm thinking it is probably muscular or something from sitting at my computer too much. I've really recommitted to getting up and doing my yoga every morning. That has helped too! Thanks for asking!

always have it checked out.
I woke up one morning with major pain in my right breast/chest...couldn't move my arm. I went for a mammogram. Expecting the worse.
It was nothing.....and after chatting w/ a friend, I realized, that 2 nights before the intense pain....I made 4 batches of cookies from scratch....stirring all, not using a mixer.
Obviously my arm was so sore that I couldn't lift my arm, etc.
I immediately jumped to phase 4 cancer also......and glad that for me, basically a little hard work did me in ! but pain is pain, and have it looked at. (I now use a mixer more when I bake)
