He is not himself. He looks like he is in pain. He sits in the same place, still, or if he lays down, will not get up. It takes a lot to get him outside. I thought he was constipated, but he went, seemed to be better, but now is not going at all… ( Saturday had a pencil thin poop, followed by a little liquid) I gave him some canned food, ( he usually has dry, so i figured that he might go easier. ) He is shaky , weak and looks scared.His belly is tender and a little firm. He ate yesterday morning and not much since. He cries if I pick him up. Will go up the stairs if I pull on him…  We have a vet appt at 12 noon. Please pray he will be OK. I am so nervous. |

He perked up quite a bit at the vet. He ate biscuits… peed for a urine sample… let her draw blood… had a rectal exam ( no obstruction, and some normally formed poop came out) SORRY TMI… She gave him an appetite enhancer . No tick borne disease ( at least the main ones they have a quick check for), no UTI, no obstruction… He came home, we walked again ( last PM and this AM we walked and walked and walked ) and this time he pooped. He acted somewhat normal. He came in and ate canned food with water mixed in ( he is dehydrated) and now he is in his crate napping on his blanket.
She took blood for pancreatitis, and the less common Addison';s disease and other issues.

Thanks! I am happy he pooped…and he finally ate a bit. He is now snoring loudly in his crate, head propped up on his stuffed dog. And he has stopped quivering.

Forgot to update here...
He is not 100 %, but better. Eyes brighter and he's eating... he still just wants to sleep in his crate. If he is out of his crate he just sits in the same spot and quivers
.. kind of like when he is scared... but he's not... just different. .. but better
His bloodwork us all normal
