What is your favorite thing to do/enjoy in the spring?
Mine is the ability to be outdoors more with warm temps and longer daylight. Love the sound of the "peepers" at dusk!!! Nothing better!!!

Frogs - hearing the frogs on the creek that runs down through the valley below us. You can hear them all up and down the creek as it runs through the valley.
The timing of the frogs was strange this year. On the same day, the last of our snow melted, the road below us flooded again (flooding is gone now though! and the frogs came out for the first time this year.

I LOVE the warmer weather, the sunshine & the longer days!!!
I'm not big on sitting outside 'til later in May or so,
but I enjoy getting ready for summer by raking, cleaning up the flower beds, etc.

I LOVE walking the dogs,sitting watching the birds,mowing,smelling the flowers,feeling the warm sun-unfortunately it will be a few more months until i can do that here.

I don't know if I have spring traditions?
I like flowers, but have never had the extra money to buy lots and/or plant lots. So I seldom have flowers in my yard.
Some years....as soon as spring hits in my town, we used to head west for one last winter vacation and go skiing.....
was that crazy or what ? Now I know why folks go to FL in the winter......
I am looking forward to clearing off the porch and patio, and setting out chairs

Just being outside. Camping, hiking, gardening, sitting in the yard with an iced tea and reading....

I love to see the new buds bursting forth on the trees and see the spring flowers starting to bloom. I love to watch the birds gather up twigs and grasses to build their nests. I love to hear the birds singing and chirping.  |

Walking! -- Although we'll need to go to our favorite walking park more this year b/c there's tons of building going on in our neighborhood right now.
I'm ready for the warmth this year.

Reading on the porch! Walking! -- Although we'll need to go to our favorite walking park more this year b/c there's tons of building going on in our neighborhood right now. I'm ready for the warmth this year. This is my favorite thing to do in the summer! I frequently read and fall asleep in the chair!!! Getting old!!! But ahhh, so relaxing and wonderful! |
