Tornado touch downs. Major damage to the south west of us. Headed this way. Severe thunderstorms. Hail .high winds. everything.
Prayers for all in this area.
My daughter is stuck in traffic on her way home from school. I'll feel better once she's home. We also have a school concert tonight. Hasn't been cancelled and is mandatory. My anxiety is through the roof!

We're all ok here. My dd was stuck in traffic for awhile and her car started acting up. Funny God thing - the storm split and went around the area where she was stuck. Thank you Lord!
Watching news this morning. An area a little over an hour from here was hit pretty hard by the tornado. 1 person killed and 14 people injured. I think most of the 14 were residents of a nursing home. It could have been so much worse.
Anyone else get this crazy weather?

We have had nothing like that today, but it started out warm and foggy, then at noon had a HUGE thunderstorm, torrential rain, and a quick power outage ( @home… I was at work 2 miles away and we had power)

Glad you are ok,Debbie and your daughter got home ok !! That was a miracle how the tornado split.
Stay safe cshoremom----------we had the terrible wind all night and all day,but no tornadoes---just a blizzard. Everything is shut down-no travel----power is still on.
