I need some ideas!
My mom turns 65 in a week or so.
I'd like to send her a gift. It has to be something that will arrive by the 25th.
Any ideas?
Probably nothing over $100.

St. Louis Cardinals baseball, University of Illinois basketball, jewelry, grandkids, travel, shopping
The biggest issue is that she owns one of everything already

I know you are probably too far away to do something with her now. Do you get to see her periodically though? If so, what about a "gift certificate" to do something special with the kids? (Not necessarily a monetary "gift certificate" but something on the lines of "a day with the grandkids" kind of thing.)
I'll keep thinking...

Letters from you/your kids about what you/they love about mom/grandma?
I did this for my Dad's 70th birthday (just a letter from me though - my kids were too little). It actually made my dad cry.

Order her an audio book - something she hasn't read, maybe by a favorite author
some pretty beads and other accessories so she can make a piece of jewelry
i ordered several pieces of jewelry from this etsy store for xmas - loved the pieces.....look for shop "rustica jewelry"
something to pamper her - something at a spa ?
tickets for something ? museum, historical site,
nice frame and a pic of all the grandkids? or her kids? - a nice photograph album for the coffee table
a box set of a tv show or movie series she might like
I quilt - so fabric is always a great gift for me......does she do needlepoint? or crossstitch?

I bet you could do a nice theme flower arrangement or edible gift item, then they could deliver in whatever day you choose.

We made a picture blanket for my Mom one year. Used all pictures of my girls. Walgreens linkI also had found a nice coupon code to use on it. |
