I read these books in college as part of or our church's college leadership class. Good books. I think they would be appropriate for high school as well.
The Making of a Leader by Ralph Mahoney
Spiritual Leadership by J Oswald Sanders

My boys did leadership training through boy scouts white stag. Is there a council or troop near you? could you get the white stag handbook?
if you type in leadership books for teens - lots of books show up - you could read reviews on amazon.com and see if any fit your need
