What's happening in your world today???
Today my ds1 is taking a midterm, his cold seems to be a bit better. My ticker is ticking along well, no funny palpitations. My knee is feeling pretty good today ( I am having 3 Synvisc injections to keep the pain manageable) Goodness, it looks I am falling apart… I promise, I'm not! I have today and tomorrow off ( need to be productive)!!!

Glad to hear your knee is feeling good and you have not had any more weird heart things (and that the test came out well!) Interesting day around here. We are digging out from under 1/4 inch of ICE! All school districts in the surrounding region are closed - DS's school and the one on the other end of town that DH was supposed to be subbing at among them. I had to hammer, dig or crack ice off of gate latches, animal feed covers and from ground at the base of my chicken house door just to feed my animals. Got the car doors opened and the windows scraped off in the off-chance that had an emergency need to get out (not planning on going anywhere). My dog ran out this morning to do his usual roll in the snow (our snow is still about a foot deep) and found himself floundering and trying to walk across the frozen top without breaking through - he was not pleased. Oh - and the freezing rain (which started yesterday late afternoon) is supposed to continue until this evening. The only thing I'm surprised about is that we haven't lost power. My only experience with a real ice storm was back in Dec. of 1996 and that was on the other side of the mountains where there a lot more trees - we lost power then for a few days. I am prepared for power lost though here just in case... I'm planning a main meal at lunch today - pizza while watching "Red Green" . Probably at least one game with the kids. And I forsee lots of argument refereeing with the kids given the recent days and their start to today - sigh... (What kind of fun stuff I do with them today will depend on how much time I have to spend refereeing them...) I should probably make bread today. Maybe bake brownies or something fun too. The kids are supposed to have AWANA tonight, but unless there is a drastic weather change, I suspect that will end up cancelled. DD and I are supposed to have BSF tomorrow, but we'll see what happens there (and even if its not cancelled, whether DD and I go will depend on whether or not DS has school (and on time school) tomorrow or not.) I should finish my lesson today anyway though. So that's my day.

kids FINALLY went to school! 9 snow days so far this season!
I started my online courses to become a real estate broker/agent licensee whatever you want to call it. the market in oregon is growing with more growth coming.
I'm enjoying the huge amount of rain that's melting all the snow (snow is not our normal...rain is)
I may or may not leave the house today.

I think we're only on day 1 of a snow day. We've had several late starts, but no days off until today - although other districts in the area have had a 2 or more closed days at this point. Our snow has been really dry though (can't even make a snowman because its so dry.) Even though we've had a lot, its so dry that the roads clear fairly easily. Blowing snow has been a problem in some areas (not as much end of town) and iciness less of a problem. (And of course this IS the eastern half of the state that does get snow regularly - as opposed to the western half of the Cascades (also where I grew up) that usually gets less and closes more. )

Errand day: Fountain diet coke at the new SuperAmerica in my neighborhood, dropped books at the library, returned something at Walgreen's, dropped off old computers at Staples AND bought a whole bunch of yarn at the Michael's yarn sale. This early evening was beer (root beer) at a brewery with friends and now an evening of catching up on recorded TV shows.
