Can you please pray for my oldest? He is super sick with some stomach bug. He has been vomiting every 30 minutes for the last 6 HOURS. None of my kids have ever thrown up that much. He never, ever complains and is always a very stoic patient, but he felt so bad, he was almost in tears a little bit ago. I'm not sure what to do for him. At this point, anything I'd give him to help stop the nausea, I'm afraid would come right back up. Can you please pray for him??? Thanks! Also, if you could please pray the rest of us don't get it, I'd appreciate it. The end of the quarter is here and I have quite a bit of stuff to do to get things wrapped up and the new quarter ready to go! Thanks!!!!

Oh goodness...I hope he gets better soon and it doesn't spread! Is he showing signs of dehydration? That's quite a while to be keeping nothing down. Poor guy. I will pray!

I picked up some pedialyte and mixed it with 7 up for him to sip. He is just incredibly nauseated! Although he's technically an adult (18), I really don't want to leave him home alone too long because I'm afraid he'll get dizzy and fall or something. You know how woozy you feel when you are sick like that! I'm going to the pharmacy now to see if I can get him some kind of anti-nausea type of meds so he can maybe sleep for a while. I feel so badly for him!

I'm tentatively hopeful the worst is behind us. He hasn't thrown up in a couple hours, so there is that at least!

He's made a full recovery! We are praying nobody else gets it! I disinfected my bathroom like it was a bio hazard! First sprayed everything with disinfectant. Then I wiped everything with disinfectant wipes, and finally, I just cleaned it with normal cleaning products! We basically all avoided the bathroom all day - went elsewhere if we had to go. Hopefully, this will stave off anyone else getting it. I was probably around him the most and I'm doing everything I can to boost my immunity, too.

Glad he's feeling better. There seem to be a lot of super bugs going around this year. My husband had to have surgery a couple months ago, and got the flu shot while in the hospital--yet still came down with a couple of major colds.
It's kinda nice when your adult child still needs you though, isn't it? My middle guy will be 19 in a month and he got the flu worse than any of us. He almost never needs me to do anything for him when he's sick, but this time, I waited on him hand-and-foot for days. He was out of work for over a week! It was good to still have my baby need me, but I so hated to see him that sick. (But, the foolish child -- smokes. Ugh. I'm sure that contributed greatly to how badly it effected him. sigh. He's smarter than that! sigh.)
Hope the rest of y'all stay well.

This time, he was a bit more needy, and I didn't mind really. He's such a good kid overall. So, yes, it is nice to be needed - although I hate to see them sick like that! :\
