What ? the media got it wrong ? ?
who would have thunk?
no ice, no rain, no freezing wind.....
The media alerts in my area would have had you think the ice apocalypse was happening. My sis was sending me hourly email weather updates, etc.
nothing.
No wonder people ignore the media when something really does happen...they make a mountain out of an anthill,or nothing at all

I've noticed a growing media paranoia about storms in the last many years. Its as if the American culture (or at least by media standards) has lost the ability to handle bad weather.

We're supposed to get hit with the ice storm starting this afternoon, and it's supposed to continue throughout the weekend. I hope they are wrong for us as well!
