I used to do it on New Year's Day. One year I left it up all year....so tree was up and decorated for 1-1/2 years  (in the sunroom so I could shut the door and not look at it most of the time This year tho - I think I will start taking it down now.....and try to finish on new years eve So I have a clean house on New Year's Day. |

Depends on my schedule - and the kid's desires. It always comes down sometime within the first week of January but never before the end of December.
This year I am planning on undecorating everything on Jan 2nd - the day before DS goes back to school. He wants to help take things down so that is my determining factor.

I take mine down sometime in the first few weeks in January. This year we didn't have a Christmas tree until the week before Christmas so it doesn't feel like we've had it for very long.

My mom was planning on taking hers down the day after Christmas. Usually she leaves it up later, but it was up early this year. And (more importantly) it was blocking a beautiful view of snowy hills out her window. |

Ideally mid-January. Last year it was Feb 4th. We have a real tree. ...lol

I took mine down yesterday. We always get ours down between Christmas and New Year's. Once Christmas is over, I'm done!
