I made ginger cookies the week before last and sugar cookies and shortbread cookies on the weekend. This morning I made up the chocolate dough for choco caramel delights. Still need to make winter wonderland bars!  Anyone else been busy in the kitchen?? |

I still need to make hot rolls for Christmas dinner, but I'll make those on Friday or Saturday.

Today we made cut out frosted sugar cookies, 2 batches fudge (male & female  ), and mashed potato candy. On Thursday, I'm making several batches of Spritz cookies, more sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip because DH wrote a song today explaining how they really are Christmas cookies and should be included in the repertoire. |

I will start baking tomorrow.....
If I bake too far in advance - everything gets eaten.
I have asked each person for their favorite dish, and without a real meal menu, I plan to make each item....
So I am making:
gingerbread men, snickerdoodle cookies, apple pie, and red velvet cake. (i might also do slice and bake chocolate chip cookies)
then for the meal dh asked for ham (which he will make), green beans, scalloped potatoes, vegetable soup, warm bacon dip (dip is good w/ crackers, or shrimp, or to put on top of potatoes).

I made up the chocolate caramel delights this morning as well as the butter tarts. I'm making the angel food cake when dd gets here.
She wants to make chocolate crinkle cookies too.

Made angel food cake (Birthday cake for Jesus) last night. We'll have it for dessert this evening. Im making hot rolls this morning then I think I am done!!! |

I made carmel popcorn for gifts today. It's cooling and then I will package it up.
At our ladies' cookie exchange, DH liked a no bake cookie type thing. I don't have a recipe, but we tried to figure out the ingredients. I might make that.
I would like to make overnight cinnamon rolls for tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure I will get around to it.
