This has been a very weird day.
First, I came home to get some things so I could do errands. We have a place on our couch where the seam has come apart. I put my keys on the back of the couch and my entire set of keys disappeared into the hole. Did I mention I have super short arms? Yeah, that was interesting. I had to resort to cutting part of the fabric at the bottom to get my keys.
Second, I was driving through an intersection and this woman turned left and, honestly, I have no idea how we didn't collide. I wrenched my wheel and ended up turning and going into a parking lot. I just sat there saying, "Thank you, Jesus," over and over. The woman, bless her, drove in and apologized. Nobody was hurt so that's the important thing.
Third, I couldn't find my estimated tax form. It came in the mail and I lost it somehow - even though I generally put my important papers all in the same place.
Fourth, while searching for said form, I found a reimbursement check from ds1's college which I had forgotten about. It was past the void by 90 days, so I had to start calling to get a new check issued.
Fifth, I planned an activity with my Sunday school class - which we can hardly ever do because of everyone's schedules. I asked dh tonight when the family Christmas with his one sister's family is, and it's this Sunday. The same day as m Sunday school activity - that I planned. The family thing is NEVER that early.
I guess I could look at the plus side of things - I got my keys out; I wasn't hit or hurt in the car incident; By losing the form, I found the check. I don't really have anything good of the SS activity, but it's supposed to snow that day so maybe it would have been a traveling issue anyway. Okay, I've sufficiently cheered myself up! Back to work!
