As I decorate the house...I am making 3 piles
Stuff to use this year
Stuff to keep and maybe use in the future...
and stuff to give away. I have things....nice gifts, or linens, or whatever....I have never liked them, or used them, and they take up so much space. I decided to get rid of several boxes this year. Hope this xmas stuff will bless another family somewhere.
Goodwill....hope to visit you soon

It's so freeing to clear things out and make space! I should probably do the same...I have a number of Christmas things that were gifts from students when I was teaching but really aren't my style at all, yet I've kept them.

I need to do that. Yet everything seems to hold a memory.
I put up about 1/4 of what I have. My attic is FULL of boxes of Christmas Decor…. ( and all the other holidays have a ton of "stuff")
Too much.

We used to always take our give-away stuff to Third Phase in Noblesville. Have you heard of them? It's a women/children's shelter. Just looked it up and it looks like their site is still being built, but here it is: thirdphase.org/ A couple of older ladies run the place. Great place to donate.  |

Over Christmas break, I am taking everything out of the attic and going through it. We have boxes and boxes of stuff up there and I have no idea what is even in those boxes! We also have a ton of Christmas stuff I never use. I think the baby swing is still up there! Brody is 15 going on 16!!! By the time I need it again, it will be so obsolete my future dil probably won't let me put her child in it! lol
