You could get the medicated soap from a drug store and treat everyone, just in case.
Dont forget to wipe down the seats in the car, wash all the sheets and pillows in hot water, and vacuum.
Being exposed doesn't mean you will get them......
we were exposed a couple of times, and I went through the entire process. we never had them, but I worked hard to prevent it if I could

Put tea tree oil in your shampoo. Sending up prayers none of you will get lice.

Right .... exposure doesn't mean infestation.
I'd start checking hair though, immediately. If you find anything, you definitely want to check all the bedding & hairbrushes. Wash bedding & throw blankets, stuffed animals in HOT water. Dry in a HOT dryer. That will kill any bugs as well as eggs.
We had to deal with this when my girls were in middle school. Yuck. I liked using Hellman's Mayo (not low fat). Coat the hair very very well & keep it on overnight. Use a shower cap & saran wrap. Next day, wash well .... probably a couple of times. Use a "nit comb," & definitely a very HOT hair dryer.
You know, I ended up with lice myself! A friend helped me with the combing but I couldn't have her do this every day. I used a very HOT hair dryer on my hair & it killed whatever was there.

THanks for the tips. We haven't seen anything yet, but I am spraying everything with diluted tea tree oil... boiled hairbrushes... washing all blankets, pillows, etc.
Bought tea tree oil shampoo that everyone will use for awhile... blow drying hair...

If I remember correctly, lice does not like dirty hair. Lice also doesn't like hair spray. I'd be putting the long hair UP.
I bet you're gonna be fine, if you haven't seen anything yet.
Check your bed pillows in the morning. When my girls had lice, I found some on the pillow case. I was washing the bedding daily. UGH
