NAh… not really.
All 3 of my kids are out braving the crowds. Each of them went with a friend, going in different directions… they may all actually end up at same place!
Hope they are not gone too long. Mama's tired and needs to sleep.

Stores are open here in Minnesota - some all day, some opened mid-afternoon. So the whole Black Friday thing has been ruined.
Since my kids are grown, I don't have a lot of things to buy for the holidays so I ignore all the craziness. I already did some of my shopping online with some super deals a couple days ago.
Good luck getting what you want/need!

Two of my sons went last night. The one that lives with us didn't get home until almost 2 a.m. I haven't had a chance to ask them if it was productive. I was like you cshore, I was soooo tired -- was hoping he'd be home earlier. (And, then, as usual when I'm up late waiting on my kids to get home...after I force myself to stay awake for hours, then when they're home...I can't go to sleep.  ) At least today is an off day. Nope. But, that's okay. I decided I actually liked the money in the bank more. Good call.  We did end up buying a few good deals (Christmas gifts) on "cyber monday." My 18 yo son got home at 2 am…. That is CRAZY! We should've just called each other and hung out while we waited for these boys. |
