I have to get my license renewed. We have discovered that we have very few documents with my name and current address on it. We have a PO Box and all the utilities and stuff are in Art's name. Will y'all just pray that the proof we have will be acceptable and that things will go smoothly? Last time I got my license renewed I had to go back in three times before they finally got everything figured out. I just do not even want to have to go back a million times. It's almost an hour away.  |

We have the same issue but in reverse. Since I set everything up and pay the bills, most things are in my name.
Can you call first to make sure your proof will be acceptable?

I went today to pay the tabs on Dhs car. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I hope yours goes as smoothly!

Well, it took longer than I would have liked, but I had NO trouble getting my license-- they didn't even ask for all that paperwork my husband dug up for me.  So yay! That's taken care of now for another five years . . . |

when we renew out license, we don't have to show any proof? Just a credit card and current license...

when we renew out license, we don't have to show any proof? Just a credit card and current license... We don't either. They pull the current license (or not too long expired license -if you are me) and make any updates & take a new picture. |

Yeah that's what they did. But the website said I was going to need about 800 documents plus the blood of my firstborn. LOL
