What's on the menu tonight?
I have quite a few packages of cube steak from the steer we bought in the summer. My family normally likes them pan fried with mashed potatoes & gravy. I'm looking for a new way to prepare. Any suggestions?

That sounds delicious to me. That's the kind of cooking I grew up with, but my family doesn't like it much.
I have no idea yet what we are having for dinner. Probably something with chicken.

I'm looking for a new way to prepare. Any suggestions? That's what I do, except with rice & gravy instead of mashed potatoes. We have the community children's choir on Mondays and have to eat late. I'd planned to make a casserole that we could heat up in individual portions, but I forgot half the ingredients when I shopped on Saturday, go me. So it'll likely be a Chick-fil-A night.

We had fried chicken, mashed potatoes & green beans for lunch (the only real meal we do around here).
I usually do my cube steak they way you do.
